This year’s Schools Prom (sponsored by The TES) takes place on November 7-9 at the Royal Albert Hall and two groups from Scotand - the Loretto Ensemble and the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band - will be appearing.
There are two entry routes to next year’s prom: via the regional festival at Newcastle (March 25) and then the national festival next November, or groups can send a sound recording to the organisers, Music for Youth.
