The exhibition's range of science seminars includes AdrianFenton, from the National Association for Special Educational Needs (NASEN), who will be showcasing resources to help in the teaching of science to special needs pupils.
His seminar includes practical information on investigations, focus activities, symbols and pictures as well as supporting advice on special educational needs in the science department.
Mr Fenton will also look at resources from the ISSEN CD-Rom, a collaboration between NASEN and the Association for Science Education.
Inclusive Science and Special Educational Needs: Resources, Ideas and Approaches will be held at 3.30pm on Friday March 12 in B10.
Mark Biddiss will be presenting Science and Thinking Skills at 11.45am on Saturday March 13 in C12.
He promises to provide ideas to inspire pupils' scientific thinking skills at Key Stages 1 and 2. Emphasis will be placed on useful, hands-on tips for activities which aim to develop pupils' problem solving and reasoning skills.
This is all achieved through fun, magical and even mysterious approaches to presenting scientific concepts and investigations in the classroom.
