Siblings ‘can help with bullying’

Teachers can tap into children’s relationships with their siblings to help tackle bullying, according to research. Researchers at London South Bank and Open universities looked at what seven to 13-year-olds think of their brothers and sisters. Their report, published by the National Children’s Bureau, found that brothers and sisters offered protection against loneliness, although there were arguments over possessions and space.
