Teachers from south Wales gathered in Cardiff last week for the Assembly’s new pedagogy initiative. Clive Williams, head of Ysgol Gymraeg in Aberystwyth, was one of those giving presentations on good practice.
He told delegates he had been away from school at a meeting about pedagogy at the National Library in Aberystwyth. The next day, a colleague asked where he had been and if he had been ill.
He replied with the single word: “Pedagogy.”
The response? “She looked at me strangely, and said: ‘Are you better today?’”
