A music magazine “with a conscience” has been launched.
Freeq is designed for 16 to 25-year-olds, particularly students. It supports independent music, with the vast majority of content dedicated to unsigned and up-and-coming bands and artists. It also covers social, cultural and environmental issues.
The magazine is published by The Music Directory, an internet resource for unsigned and amateur musicians, and is being distributed at colleges, universities, live venues and music businesses. It is also available online.
