Scottish Opera is continuing its programme of vocal and orchestral concerts for primary schools in East Ayrshire and Inverclyde this session.
The company’s orchestra visits schools twice, first in November to introduce its involvement in an operatic production and that of soprano, mezzo, tenor and baritone voices. Then, in February, it stages a concert, when the children sing choruses with Scottish Opera soloists, accompanied by the orchestra.
The company hopes to run the project in Aberdeen next year.
