Sing their praises

Steven Sousa

Regarding the article "Choir joins megastar on his mission to Mars" (27 July), Oasis Academy Hadley is not the only school choir that has been involved in the recording of this single. The students of the Southfields Community College choir have also been working with Will.i.am to produce it. They appeared on The Voice and sang with Jaz Ellington, along with students of Oasis Academy Hadley.

As one of their teachers and a tutor of some of those involved, I am proud of them and feel they also need recognition for their efforts. Music teacher Francesco Quadraruopolo has also worked hard organising and rehearsing the choir in preparation for the various events.
