Singing scheme hits high note in awards

Sing Up, the singing project for primary schools, has won an education award at the Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards. Richard King, chief executive of Sing Up partner Faber Music, said the scheme, which has been running for four years, had transformed the musical lives of pupils.
