The first-ever National Skills Profile certificates were this week awarded to six adults aged between 20 and 40 by the Croydon Continuing Education and Training Service. The awards were designed by the RSA Examinations Board to provide employers and colleges with evidence that students have reached a standard of ability in basic skills such as numeracy, literacy and information technology.
