Six-term fears

THE six-term year is "creeping up" on schools because local teachers'

unions are breaking ranks and making deals with education authorities, the conference heard. Delegates unanimously called for holidays to be set at a national level and for the NASUWT executive to fight local changes to the traditional holiday pattern.
