AN academy has been set up in Liverpool to motivate children who are struggling at primary school. The Primary Children's Encouragement Academy provides extra help and specialist teachers. The centre serves 13 primary schools. Children attend it for six weeks and then return to their mainstream school. The project is funded through the city council's Excellence in Liverpool scheme.
