I write with reference to Phil Taylor’s comments about the educational psychology service in Manchester (TES, October 4): “Appearances from EPs are rare, once a term is common.”
I’d like to point out to him that, as his school’s educational psychologist, I paid 16 visits to his school during the past academic year, carrying out seven statutory assessments and other work - even though his school is very small.
