Professor ChemiCroc knows more about chemistry than the average crocodile. He uses his expertise to help children aged 5 to 11 make sense of national curriculum science, especially the components based on materials and their properties. Within his amicable online environment, we are introduced to the ways everyday substances - vinegar, toothpaste, jeans, eggs - illustrate scientific concepts. Activities at six levels of difficulty invite us to sort items into contrasting categories or describe events such as burning paper and melting chocolate as reversible or irreversible.
