AT the other end of matrimony's digestive system, The TES received a call from a solicitor this week asking for copies of our recent edition containing 9,000 job ads, and any stories we had about teacher shortages. Seems he represents a ma in a divorce case who is trying to counter a claim by his wife, a trained teacher, that she has no earnings capacity. The lawyer wants evidence she could get a job if she really tried. And they say journalists are devious.
