Much as I enjoyed reading William Stewart’s article on the Future Leaders Scheme (“So what if it’s a cult: now I’m a believer”, July 24), as someone who has taught in Gillingham for 19 years, I take exception to the sweeping statement that Dan Morrow was brought up in a single-parent family in “deprived, working-class Gillingham”.
