The Scottish Council for Educational Technology is running “Software in Focus” days for teachers to investigate IT materials for their own subject. Groups, normally of 20 teachers who have paid Pounds 15 a head, are shown a range of appropriate software, then let loose to try it out for themselves. Future workshops include primary geography and history (November 14), secondary English and drama (November 21), and upper primary science and IT (November 28).
