The landscaping of the site of the house where school caretaker Ian Huntley murdered schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman is virtually complete, education authority officials said this week.

Cambridgeshire council said the site had been turfed and now lay behind a new set of black iron railings. The house, in the grounds of Soham Village College was knocked down in April. Staff at the school said they wanted to erase all trace of Huntley.
