FAMILY NIGHT was a great success at the “Tactics and Trends” show put on in Glasgow by the Scottish Council for Educational Technology. Children were running around, getting their hands on shiny new computers and sipping cocktails (non-alcoholic, of course) on the Oracle stand.
The fun was spoilt, sadly, for one poor mother, a Mrs Sutherland, who lost her son and issued a missing person call over the PA. Young Andrew, it turned out, was late for his tea. He was also a rather red-faced depute rector from the Gordon Schools in Huntly.
