In a recent sociology lesson, the class was discussing a report on the increase in one-parent families. One of the less common reasons for this was said to be annulment. I asked if anyone could explain this. Julie insisted that she could, "Sir, it's when the husband is incompetent."


Biology teacher to Year 9 class:

"So a plant is a producer because it makes its own foo. What might we call an animal which eats the plant?"

Pupil: "A cow?"
