Explore-at-Bristol has a new Live Science zone that aims to give visitors another view of popular science. The “studio” and “news and views“sections allow pupils to join in debates about current developments in the world of science and to express their opinions on a video wall. For a more hands-on experience, Exploration Stations is the home of experiments, projects and a wide range of activities, all intended to support students’ knowledge of science in a fun environment. The new zone is part of Explore-at-Bristol’s redeveloped first floor, which also houses a larger temporary exhibition area. For more information telephone 0117 915 7777; www.at-bristol.org.uk
