South Wales mining CD-Rom shares arts honours

A multimedia CD-Rom, Coalfaces and Pitheads, produced by south Wales primary schools with help from the EC-funded Rhondda Cynon Taff Arts Development, shared in the honours in the prestigious Chrisi Bailey Awards run by the Arts Council. The awards went to the Royal Photographic SocietyCamely Primary School Residency Hirwaun and Rhigos Primary SchoolsTower Colliery Project and Shed 22 Media Access CentreDigital Dreams. The presentation will be held next month when next year’s awards will be launched, and information will be published in the September issue of TESOnline.
