CONGRATULATIONS on your successful creativity campaign.

We have been researching creativity in primary schools during the past 10 years and have recorded the attempts by teachers to maintain creativity by adapting and appropriating government initiatives.

We are planning a two-year series of seminars from this autumn focusing on creativity in education, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Details will be available later in the summer on our website at opencreativity.open.ac.uk.

In the meantime, we are keen to build a database of creative practices in schools and to search for research sites. We would welcome details of projects that concern themselves with developing a creativity discourse.

Please visit our website or contact us at creativity@open.ac.uk
