Two exhibitions focusing on the natural world are running at Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries this month.

For Lovely Weather, Diane Maclean collaborated with scientists, photographers and other artists to produce sculpture and video work inspired by the weather and the reality of climate change. It is on show until May 21.

Meanwhile, Clay in Bloom marks the 30th anniversary of the Scottish Potters Association. The exhibition, open until May 28, features the work of 18 ceramicists, who produced new pieces inspired by their experience of one of the royal botanic gardens.
