Standards unit advisers named

Senior education advisers to Professor Michael Barber’s standards and effectiveness unit were announced this week. They are James Kennedy, of the Audit Commission, Bill Clark, from the New South Wales Department of School Education, Steve Farnsworth, from Nottinghamshire local education authority, Marie Boyd-Clarke from the Office for Standards in Education, Ralph Tabberer, assistant director at the National Foundation for Educational Research, Steven Andrews, head of Sandringham School in St Albans, Hertfordshire, and Judy Sebba, of the University of Cambridge School of Education.
