If you missed it in 1999, take your students to the next solar eclipse in Ghana next year. A 21-day expedition, organised by Raleigh International and Roseland Observatory, Cornwall, will run from March 25 to April 15. The solar safari offers people, aged 17 or over with a passion for astronomy, astrophysics or science the chance to view the eclipse and study its effects on the wildlife in Ghana. The expedition also includes a community project aimed at improving education of health and hygiene. Registration for the Dark Sun expedition closes on September 30.
