Stress and early death linked

With the recent revelations about the stress teachers are working under (I have an Office for Standards in Education inspection next week) and the diminishing opportunites available for early retirement, I wonder whether anyone has done a study on the life expectancy of teachers?

I would like to know how this correlates with the figures for early retirement. For example, what is the average life expectancy for a teacher retiring at: 50; 55; 60 and 65?

If such figures are available, they would make frightening reading.
