Strike threatened over head’s ‘failings’

Members of Welsh-medium teaching union UCAC have threatened strike action over the “failings” of a headteacher at a North Wales primary. Governors at Ysgol Gynradd Goronwy Owen on Anglesey drew up an action plan following a critical report into the head’s leadership, but teachers said the situation was “irredeemable”. Anglesey council admitted “further dialogue” was needed.
