Participants aged 18-25, who have been unemployed for at least six months, will improve their career prospects by means of a French refresher course and intensive information technology training leading to a NVQ level II. The next course begins in September and students must be free to spend up to one month in France. TriTec, part of Sheffield's Department of Employment and Economic Development, has launched a new European Exchange scheme, supported by Sheffield Training and Enterprise Council, in which British and French students work together to develop training materials for NVQs in France.
