It is election day in the United States and as tension builds over who will become the next President schools have been holding mock elections to learn about democracy.

While some schools took a very serious approach with professional-looking polling booths, others threw up a few flags and dusted off their Donald Trump masks.

While some classes came out in favour of Clinton...

Of course, it was important to get the basics in place so as not to spoil the ballot paper:
