Students fear pound;12,000 debt

Newly-qualified graduates expect to owe more than pound;12,000 and take eight years to repay it, according to a survey by Endsleigh Insurance. The study of more than 11,000 students at universities and colleges found that men believe they will graduate with average debts of pound;12,822, while women expect to owe pound;12,262.
