Students to work with Angel artist

ANTHONY Gormley, the sculptor behind the giant Angel of the North is to work with A-Level students from the North-east of England on a new public art project. He will work with five young artists and 60 sixth-form students at inner-city schools included in the Government’s “gifted and talented” programme. The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts has given pound;116,790 towards the year-long project, run by the Northumberland-based Samling Foundation.
