- The UK Youth Parliament has asked young people to choose what it should debate. The top four issues out of the 15 on the Make your Mark ballot paper will be debated on 23 November at the parliament’s sitting in the House of Commons, chaired by speaker of the house John Bercow. One will become UKYP’s national campaign for 2013.

Careers

- Warburton’s has formalised its partnership with Bellshill Academy and North Lanarkshire Council to give young people an insight into the world of work. Set up by the Scottish Food and Drink Federation as part of its national schools programme, this has already helped pupils at Bellshill and its feeder primaries to enhance their ICT, literacy and teamworking skills.
