Health

- Pupils at Banchory Primary in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, have completed a family dog walk event as part of a project to develop skills. Children did their own risk assessment and used Ordnance Survey maps to plan the safest route that they thought dogs would enjoy. The school plans to make the event a staple part of its health and well-being work.

Environment

- Cornton Primary and Strathblane Primary have scooped the top awards in Stirling Council’s rural and urban litter initiative awards. Each school taking part receives points during the year for playground cleanliness, community litter involvement, litter clean-ups, recycling and other environmental activities. The initiative is open to all primaries across the district.
