Flight of fancy

- Pupils from North Berwick High and Ross High in Tranent took part in a National Museum of Flight event at East Fortune to inspire future engineers and scientists. Workshops were hosted by fourth-year engineering students, scientists and aviators. The day culminated in a flypast by a Jet Provost aircraft.

- A resource, developed by the Scottish government with Glasgow Life, has been launched to help professionals spot the signs of forced marriage. Designed for teachers, youth workers or volunteers working with young people aged 12-25, it gives the facts about forced marriage, who it affects and what impact it can have.
