History
Roman centurions told visitors to Pictavia in Angus about life in the Roman army and invited them to join an impromptu training exercise. They also instructed young visitors in how to wear chain mail and helmets, and in sword and shield skills. The visitor centre on the outskirts of Brechin tells the story of Picts from the earliest days.
