Pupils from Goodlyburn Primary in Perth have been house-hunting as part of a financial project. P6-7 pupils visited a showhome and house under construction at the Balgarvie estate of Stephen housebuilders. Pupils have a budget to design a room, produce adverts, and promote the grand opening. They are also learning about careers in property.

Budding entrepreneurs from each East Ayrshire secondary and Kilmarnock College took part in a special event run jointly by the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust and East Ayrshire Council to encourage them to set up businesses. They heard presentations, took part in workshops and met local and national entrepreneurs.
