Its variety, and being able to see pupils and staff working so well together.

For an overview of what is happening - not only in Scottish education but also in other parts of the world. It can be a catalyst to further investigation.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Sir Ken Robinson.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

A Scottish government statement that clearly states its financial support and commitment to develop Chinese language and culture across Scotland.

What do you see as the big issue for Scottish education?

The taking forward of Curriculum for Excellence. This is the best opportunity we have to re-establish Scotland at the forefront of world education.
