Headteacher of St Mary’s Primary, overlooking Leith Links.

Three years. I was a TESS magpie before.

- Why did you start?

Education’s evolving at a phenomenal rate. I’m keen to read about opinions, ideologies and methodologies from Scotland and elsewhere.

- Who reads your copy?

Me, before the kids get their felt-tips all over it.

- What should there be more of in TESS?

Weekly features on other countries.

- What’s the best thing we’ve done?

Go online. I can use the archive and chat forums on the move.

- Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

My inspirational principal at St Andrew’s College for teacher education, Bart McGettrick.

- What would you be excited to see on the front page?

“Headteacher manages Hibs to Scottish Cup glory”.
