While welcoming a feature on the role of agencies in teacher supply (TES, March 20) I was disappointed that it contained a number of factual errors.

TimePlan will provide more than 140,000 supply days this year, not the 40,000 you stated. Last month saw our one millionth day of teaching since the company began. Almost three-quarters of TimePlan teachers are paid at above scale rate - more than twice as many as your piece suggested. The arrival of agencies has increased pay rates for thousands of supply teachers.
