Croydon Council’s Special Needs Information Service is a parent partnership offering support and advice during the 26-week assessment and statementing process for children. The service includes a trained volunteer, who visits parents or carers and supports them in meetings. Information on disabilities and syndromes such as sickle cell anaemia, muscular dystrophy, attention deficit disorder and autism is also provided.
