Teachers who “deliberately” take no action against sexual harassment of pupils by classmates can be held legally and financially liable, the US Supreme Court has ruled. The 5-4 decision came in a case involving a 10-year-old girl in Georgia who was allegedly repeatedly fondled by a male classmate.
