A BEDFORDSHIRE teacher has been suspended after saying on television that he did not want his son to attend the school where he works, because whites are in a minority there. Richard Smith, 48, a languages teacher at Denbigh high school in Luton, made the remarks onthe documentary, School Days. Mr Smith appealed to governors at nearby Icknield high over their refusal to offer his son Daniel a place and said he did not believe Denbigh high, where 92 per cent of the pupils are Asian, would offer the right environment.
