I am an instant messaging addict. Fortunately Internet monitoring in this college is light, but I am aware that plans are now afoot to restrict access. I am afraid that I will be caught but have no idea how to stop.
Managers are wising up to use of the Internet during work hours. Don’t kid yourself that you are not already being monitored. Software enables controllers to remotely access all clients and record online activities. It is also an easy way to block access to particular sites. The advice to any employee is to get on with your job.
