Over in North Lanarkshire, they're thinking of giving every pupil a suitably-inscribed millennium T-shirt. The council's educational motto "Aiming Higher in North Lanarkshire" may prove to be a bit of a mouthful for the smaller backs, but we're sure the authority is awash with the necessary inspiration.
