Scotland took seven medals at the British Schools Table Tennis Championships in the Isle of Man earlier this summer but no golds.

There were silvers in the under-16 singles for Craig Howieson (James Gillespie’s High) and Corinna Whitaker (Dollar Academy) and bronze medals for Scott Johnson (Auchterarder CS) and Jenna McBeth (Dumfries High).

In the under-16 doubles, there was a silver for Whitaker and Rebecca Russell (Grangemouth High) and a bronze for Howieson and Richard Main (Ardrossan Academy).

In the boys’ under-18 doubles, Johnson and Sanny Choo (Strathallan) won bronze.
