Coleg Morgannwg has started work on a pound;40 million new-build at its Nantgarw campus. Welsh education minister Leighton Andrews cut the first turf at the Taf Ely Learning Campus - which is backed by more than pound;34 million of Welsh Assembly government funding, including almost pound;7 million from the European Regional Development Fund. The new campus will replace the college’s Rhydyfelin site and is due for completion in September 2012.
