Talent wasted

I endured two years of my son’s Edexcel art GCSE alongside him. He is a talented artist who, from an early age would enjoy many hours of simply drawing.

He did produce fine pieces of coursework but the paperwork was tortuous. My son did not want to spend weeks writing biographies of famous artists, he wanted to create. The result, he got an A but swears he will never pick up a pencil again. A talent that should have been nurtured has been squashed.
