The National Archives Education Service has launched an online resource on the 1960s in response to what it claims is a “gap” in primary-source material on the era. Documents available include material relating to miniskirts, the moon landings, mods and rockers, and anti-war protests. An introduction has been written by Dominic Sandbrook, author of White Heat: A History of Britain in the Swinging Sixties. Visit www.nationalarchives.gov.ukeducationtopicssixties-britain.htm.
