We recognise that teaching the Holocaust can be challenging and teachers must ensure that it is communicated in the right way, at the right time, so that young people truly learn from what has happened in the past. But we have been providing free online resources advising primary school teachers on effective teaching methods since 2005, with excellent feedback received.

Holocaust Memorial Day aims to teach all people - young and old - what can happen when prejudice, racism and bullying go unchecked. It is only by learning the lessons of the past that we can create a better future.
