Teacher dies on Fiji holiday

A Northumberland teacher on a trip of a lifetime to Fiji has been killed in a jet-ski accident, the Foreign Office has confirmed.

Gillian Neesham, 51, from Hexham was on holiday with her family when she died on Sunday. Local police are investigating but the death of the married mother-of-three - a teacher at Prudhoe West first school in Prudhoe for more than 10 years - was not being treated as suspicious.
